BPSDMI Meeting : Industrial Human Resources Development for Economic Recovery
The Head of the Industrial Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDMI), Eko SA Cahyanto opened the BPSDMI Ministry of Industry's Technical Working Meeting (Rakernis) which was held for three days on 18-20 November 2020 offline and online at the Royal Ambarrukmo Hotel, Yogyakarta.
This Rakernis is expected to be able to prepare and develop synergy, coordination, access and cooperation with related stakeholders. In this case, strategic planning is needed to be embodied in the work plan for the 2021 fiscal year which is discussed by each unit within the BPSDMI Ministry of Industry.
The Head of BPSDMI, in this Rakernis report said that this event was attended by 183 participants from the Central BPSDMI unit, SMK Work Units, Polytechnic Work Units and Community Academies, as well as the Industrial Training Center work units, which will jointly design work programs for next year equating the perceptions and tasks of BPSDMI.
"That this meeting is to carry out and equalize the perception of the tasks in the division. As well as building synergies and collaborations in the development of competent industrial human resources that are globally competitive by involving stakeholders. " Said Eko S.A Cahyanto.
As a form of commitment and sincerity in achieving the vision and mission of the National Working Meeting entitled Building Competitive Industrial Human Resources Development Collaboration to Encourage National Economic Recovery, BPSDMI invited several speakers including the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, the Coordinating Ministry for Human and Cultural Development, the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investment, and National Development Planning Agency.
The speakers present delivered material that was divided into three (3) panel groups ranging from preparing the industrial workforce across KL, strengthening international cooperation to strengthening education and training links and matches to support Industrial Vocations.
It is hoped that the holding of this Rakernis can produce output in the form of the realization of policy synergies and industrial HR development programs among stakeholders, the creation of coordination across Ministries / Agencies and sectors in implementing the Industrial HR program and expanding access to international cooperation.
This activity is a means for all BPSDMI employees as stakeholders in BPSDMI's internal environment, to jointly advance the national industry.
