Pressing Unemployment Rate, BPSDMI Holds the 3rd Simultaneous 3 in 1 Training
The Industrial Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDMI) of the Ministry of Industry is holding 3 in 1 Competency-Based Training simultaneously for the third time, as a concrete manifestation of the government's participation in preparing competent industrial workers according to industry needs, as well as efforts to reduce unemployment and increasing labor absorption during the Covid-19 pandemic.
"The 3 in 1 training which opens today is very special because it is carried out simultaneously by 7 (seven) Industrial Training Centers and is attended by various industrial sectors from various regions throughout Indonesia. And this is the third time this year we have held a 3 in 1 training opening simultaneously, which was previously held on 25 August 2020 and 10 September 2020 which was attended by all BDIs within the Ministry of Industry, "said the Head of BPSDMI Ministry of Industry, Eko S.A. Cahyanto, in Jakarta, Thursday (22/10).
According to him, the industrial company which is the location of the training is confirmed to have secured the Industrial Activity Mobility Operational Permit (IOMKI). Apart from being obliged to apply the Health Protocol both during training and outside training, training activities are also continuously monitored until the training ends.
Also officially opening this event, Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry Achmad Sigit Dwiwahjono said, to encourage national industrial growth, there are 3 main pillars that must be of concern, namely investment, technology and Human Resources (HR).
Of the three components, continued Achmad Sigit, the great potential for Indonesia is the availability of competent human resources.
"Competent and professional human resources will be the key to the success of an organization. According to the President's direction that national development is currently focused on developing quality human resources, so it is necessary to carry out various vocational education and training programs on a more massive basis. " Achmad Sigit explained when he opened 3 in 1 training simultaneously at 7 industrial training centers (BDI) virtually Thursday (22/10).
